The First Red Blends
This generic term has its roots in a variety of French, Italian and Spanish viticultural areas. We taste the original “red blends” by sampling Cabernet/Merlot from Bordeaux, Syrah/Grenache from the Rhone, Valpolicella wines from the Veneto, Carignan/Grenache from Priorat, Spain, and southwest French Minervois red blends. Served with cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines.

Pinot Noir Blind Tasting
We wrap bottles of Pinot Noir up from its homeland of Burgundy, as well as Oregon, New Zealand, northern Italy and California. You guess which is which, we uncover at the end, and the evening is full of surprises! Can you tell the difference between a classic Burgundy and new world versions? Served with cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by Michael Diethorn of Country Vintner Wholesalers.

Zinfandel, Primitivo & Port Tasting
The October chill is the best time of the year to whip these guys out because of their warming, rich fruit and often higher alcohol content. We explore these genetic siblings of Zin and Primtivo, then finish with ports, in a tasting fitting for the month. Served with cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines.
