A reservation based sit down tasting with a presentation of a flight of five fine wines, starting with a Champagne. Each wine served with hors d’oeuvre or small plates from our kitchen, and ends with a dessert from our patissier.

Thanksgiving Day Red Wines
We offer up some amiable red wine pairings for the Thanksgiving Day table for those that prefer – new world Pinot Noir, Merlot, as well as French Beaujolais, Italian Fumin and Chambave, a sweet red sparkling to finish with the pumpkin pie, and a port for afterward around the fire!  Served with Thanksgiving Day triple creme and blue cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff at Good Mansion Wines.

Nothing goes with turkey and harvest fruits better than fruity white wines.  We imbibe in our favorite whites for the Thanksgiving Day table, including dry Alsatian Riesling, sweet Mosel Valley Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and white Burgundy, plus luscious sweet dessert wine for afterward. Served with Thanksgiving Day triple creme and blue cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines.

This tasting is an annual favorite– a taste of some of Wheeling’s finest wines from our Good Mansion Wines Portfolio, for visiting friends and family from out of town to enjoy.  We will sample from wines that Good Mansion has been instrumental in bringing into the state, including rare Old World selections.
