Ribera del Duero and Priorat
Big, tannic, bold.  These Spanish reds are some of the best reds for grilled red meats, or just for sipping in the evening to stay warm.  We explore the differences between the Tinto Fina wines of Ribera del Duero north of Madrid and the bold, juicy and tannic Carignan and Garnacha Priorat south of Barcelona in this homage to Spanish reds. Served with Manchego, Roncal, Mirableu and baguettes

Sauvignon Blanc + Cabernet Franc = Cabernet Sauvignon
This is fun.  We will taste first the two mother grapes, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc, from which Cabernet Sauvignon was born.  We will then taste Cabernet Sauvignon wines to see if we can see characteristics of both mother grapes in this red wine.  Served with cheese and baguettes.  $15 at the door, no reservations needed.  Occupancy limited to 50
