Celebrate Independence Day from the Brits with what has quickly become a popular tradition – our open house cook out and wine tasting. Indulge in our grilled homemade sausage, served on our grilled homemade baguettes with our imported EV olive oils and partake in a sampling of American red and white wines. All activities occur in the back bakery but the entire shop is open for seating.

Brown Bag Tasting
It’s that time again to bag up an assortment of red and white wines, from $10 to $100, and see who can guess what is what, and at what price point. We uncover the bags at the end for an evening full of surprises, gotchas and new favorites. Served with cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines.

Wines of the Cheese Triangle
The epicenter of the world’s most beloved cheeses stretch from France’s south and mid east quadrant to western Switzerland to northwest Italy. In this special tasting, we offer 6 courses or wines with specific cheese pairings that cover this triangle — red and white Burgundy with Epoisses and Delice de Bourgogne, to Apremont with Forme d’Ambert blue cheese, Nebbiolo wines with Gorgonzola Dolce, red Chambave with Fontina Val d’Aosta, to white Fendant with Challerhocker. Served with our French baguettes. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines.

Best of Italy Open House Tasting
Avoid the sticky heat and crowds of the Italian Festival by enjoying an authentic sampling of some of our favorite Italian red and white wines, from the best selection of Italian wines in this part of the USA. This is an open house tasting with a line of up for you to pick from. Italian cheeses and salumi, olives, vegetables in oil, tapenades and olive oil with our French baguettes complement the evening.
