We revisit Napa wine country in California this month, with an emphasis on reaching out to other grape varietals beyond its legendary Cabernet. From Sauvignon Blanc to Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot and hopefully more, this is a well balanced presentation of all that the region has to offer. Served with cheeses and our French baguettes. Burgundy Beauties
Fresh off our tour of Burgundy wine country last month, we are excited to share with you a sampling of some of the better wines for the price from that often elusive wine region. While the focus will be on the Pinot Noir wines of Cote d’Or, the evening will start with a Chardonnay. Served with Burgundy cheeses and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines.

Wines & Family from Le Marche, Italy
We bid farewell to a summer visit from family from Le Marche, Italy, with a tour of that region’s sleeper wine list. We start with a Passerina Spumante with fried stuffed olives. Then proceed with two white wines- Pecorino, derived from the original clones from our grandmother’s tiny mountain hamlet of Pescara del Tronto, and then Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Then onto the reds, including Rosso Piceno, Lacrima di Morro and Rosso Conero. Served with central Italian cheese and our French baguettes. Presented by the staff and Italian family of Good Mansion Wines.

Brown Bag Tasting
Every time we do one of these, we always tell ourselves we should do more- they’re fun and educational for both us and attendees! We bag up an assortment of red and white wines, from $10 to $100, and see who can guess what is what, and at what price point. We uncover the bags at the end for an evening full of surprises, gotchas and new favorites. A great way to do a wrap on summer. Served with cheeses and our French baguettes.
