Bread sticks from Asti, Italy

These classic Piemontese bread sticks contain only pure, basic ingredients including 100% Italian wheat, 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, fresh yeast, malt and salt. The difference in these bread sticks is that they are cut and then stretched by hand at the Mario Fongo family “laboratorio,” rather than extruded in a dye, making them much less brittle than industrially produced bread sticks.
