Red Wines from Italy’s Red Belt
It’s that part of central Italy that swaths Italy like a belt — Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Marche and Umbria — with historically strong communist and leftist political persuasion — and some of Italy’s most noted red wines. We bounce around from Tuscany’s legendary Sangiovese wines like Chianti and Brunellos to Umbrian Sagrantino to Marchigiano Sangiovese and Montepulciano blends of Rosso Piceno, to more obscure wines like Lacrima di Morro from Le Marche, and Sangiovese and Barbera productions from Emilia-Romagna. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines. Served with central Italian aged cheeses and French baguettes.

The Good Mansion Wines Portfolio
Since our early years, Good Mansion Wines has been responsible for bringing hundreds of new labels into the state by working with wholesalers to register new importer portfolios into the state. Today, West Virginia’s wine lists are invariably more interesting thanks to the efforts of our shop. We celebrate some of the more noteworthy and popular wines of our “Good Mansion Wines Portfolio” this evening, consisting of both reds and whites – from Gattinara to Pecorino, Cornalin to Fumin, the legendary Ruinart Champagne, and the list goes on. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines. Served with cheese and French baguettes.

Mystery Reds
By this time of the year, the cold chill of the early morning should be full press, and the smell of fall leaves is in the air. There is no better of a time to explore red wines than by bagging a variety of kinds up and trying to guess which is which — Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Tempranillo, Barbera, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Malbec and more. We uncover at the end with an evening full of fun and surprises. Presented by the staff of Good Mansion Wines. Served with cheese and French baguettes.
