This is always one of our favorite tastings of the year, when we get to open a flight of beautiful, elegant whites and reds from France’s eastern Alsace region. Explore the complexity and grace of some of the world’s best dry Rieslings, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. Served with triple creme cheeses and baguettes. California Cabernet Blind Tasting
Can you discern the difference between a coveted Napa Cabernet and a price friendly Central Coast one, or a Napa Cab from a Sonoma Cab? Give your wines kill set a a test with this blind tasting, where we will wrap 6 to 8 California Cabernet from different areas and price points up in a brown bag, taste, guess which is which, and then reveal the labels at the end. Wines of the Legendary Loire Valley of France
The Loire River Valley is a vast basin with origins in central France that run to the northwest coast. It spans dozens of wine appelations, from the saline white Muscadet on the coast to the crisp and minerally white Sancerre and Pouilly Fume near the headwaters south of Paris, as well as beloved and affordable reds like the calcium rich Chinon and soft and plush Anjou Rouge.
