Weekend Production Baker

Tenative Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Position: Part-Time, 20-27 hours per week

Good Mansion Wines is looking for a dependable and motivated Weekend Production Baker to join our bakery and kitchen team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on food production, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a small team where quality and attention to detail matter.

The Weekend Production Baker will assist with our weekend bread and pastry production, help prepare doughs for upcoming production, and make pizzas during lunch service.

Responsibilities

 

• Assist with morning bread and pastry production, including baking, finishing, and preparing products for service
• Assist with the production, shaping, and handling of baguette and pizza dough
• Prepare and bake pizzas for lunch service
• Follow established recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
• Help organize ingredients and complete prep for current and upcoming production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery and kitchen workspace
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and prepared products
• Assist with dishes, cleaning, and general kitchen upkeep as part of the production day
• Occasionally assist customers, take lunch orders, and provide friendly service when needed
• Work collaboratively with the bakery, deli, and front-of-house teams

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to consistently work Friday–Sunday from 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established recipes and procedures
• Able to stay organized and work efficiently during busy production and lunch periods
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting typical bakery ingredients, equipment, and sheet pans
• Baking, bread, pizza, or professional kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• An interest in artisan bread, pastry, and quality food is a plus

This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to develop experience in artisan bread, pastry, dough production, and pizza while working as part of a small, quality-focused bakery and specialty food shop.
